Standard Mechanics provides standardized fatigue testing as well as engineering solutions to design customized testing conditions and fixtures, including:
Servo-Hydraulic testing frames
Customizable fixtures
Axial Testing Load capacities up to 100 kN (22,000 lbs)
Customizable anti-buckling options for thin materials

Low Cycle Fatigue (ASTM E606)
Low cycle fatigue often uses strain control methods to understand how various levels of plastic deformation affect material performance. Standard Mechanics utilizes in-house software to analyze strain amplitude and reversals to failure data to produce parameters such as:
• Cyclic strain hardening exponent (n’)
• Fatigue strength exponent (b)
• Fatigue ductility exponent (c)
• Cyclic strength coefficient (K‘)
• Fatigue strength coefficient (σ’f)
• Fatigue ductility coefficient (ε’f)
• Young’s modulus (E)

High Cycle Fatigue (ASTM E466)
High cycle fatigue uses servo-hydraulic load frames to perform load-controlled fatigue tests up to 10,000,000 cycle runout. Testing frequencies for high cycle fatigue can reach up to 30Hz with 24-hour surveillance to ensure the fasted turn around times while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and reliability.
